NY Predictions

Gelinas: 9th (We almost got the Fortnite dub before States, 2nd place solos AFK during the team meeting)
Goff: 20th (Long, long time since they've been to Nats)

Tbh I don't think you guys will be top 10, you haven't been doing that well this year, but probably very close, maybe 11 or 12. Goff, however, I don't think will make top 20. They got really lucky during states, maybe they'll get in the 30s or something.

I agree on Gelinas, but I'd say Goff will be around 20-25.

Last time we (Goff) made Nationals in 1999, we got 20th. We'll probably end up about there again.

Agreed. You’d have to see which states have moved their state tournaments to different times of year, and study the effect of those changes.

I mean this makes sense because the kids get to work harder and feel stress/under pressure as they prepare. Plus not all states hold all events, and when you start an event like two months before nats then it's hard to get better.

I agree with Gelinas, and I think Goff might be around 17th in my predictions. They didn't have many bombs at states and that's what hurts your team score the most at nationals. And Goff's 2nd place states is not due to luck, but due to a solid team that works well together and spreads events outs evenly. Also, I think its an understatement to say Gelinas hasn't done that well because they did win 3 tournaments that consisted of nationally competitive teams and won NYS. But none the less we will just have to wait and see and good luck to all teams competing in Colorado!

theres a bunch of stuff that dont make sense, but biggest one i see is kennedy. kennedy going to be top 4 or 5 for sure
