im so pumped for nationals in Augusta because i live in S.C. and more people will come to watch. I miss Kanasas because that was the year we won the spirit award ( the only school to win it twice) but yea there isnt much to do in Augusta but around it is a blast. Atlanta is awesome!!!

So... you guys already won the state competition for 2009 and your going to nats?
If so, you guys have an early state competition ;). Ours is in March!

When we went to Kansas for nats there was some "tornado" prep. LOL. We got first that year!
Then, when we went to Washington D.C. there was a tornado watch...so there we go again with the tornadoes. -- it was extremely windy and rainy that day...I almost got soaked because I didn't have my jacket.

Anyways, I think it's awsome to have a competition in the South...much warmer and hopefully no tornadoes!

Oh we have plenty of tornados in the spring, just not big ones. Little EF0's and EF1's.

i TOTALLY want to go to nationals this year (last year was the first time ever that our school made it to nationals), but virtually every person on the team is now in high school. so we 8th and 7th graders had to take over for them, but i don't think we'll make it.
that won't keep me from trying my hardest, though *cheesy cheesy*

My team has a real chance of making if we have a good day at states. We've never made it before, so it would be big for us.
Strath Haven MS:
2008: Regionals-3, States-5
2009: Regionals-2, States-4
2010: Regionals-1, States-2, Nationals-19 :)
2011 (Co-captain): Regionals-1, States-1, Nationals-11 :D

Nationals: Aquifers-37, Compute This-13, Dynamic Planet-25, Ecology-6, Experimental Design-7, Junkyard-33

Moving to C...

nationals is an awesome experience. Augusta isn't all that cool, but if you come visit Atlanta there is always something to do in the ATL. I think i might drive up this summer and watch the Wright Stuff event. That's always entertaining

Yeah, it's the capital of Maine, but there also happens to be an Augusta in Georgia.

*facepalm* There's an Augusta Georgia too. It would be nice to have one in Maine though :D, not as hot. I'm sure Colby would be glad to host it :P

Starpug, if your team makes it to Nationals, would you goto Nationals, even though you are on B Team?
