Re: LET`S POST YOUR REGIONAL SUCCESS

just out of curiosity, sr243, what school did you go to in nj?sr243 wrote:Well I moved from NJ to Wisconsin. I knew NJ is one of the most competitive SO states, probably among the top 10. Community, Montgomery are both national competitors who have done every well...
we failed regionals...top 5...qualified for states...but 9th graders were crying and the coaches were mad and i was depressed and ready to yell at the next person who asked "how did you do at regionals?" but we more or less redeemed ourselves in states but we still did very bad at states sigh...

Our team got first for the 9th time in a row, so we have a lot to be happy about.

Re: LET`S POST YOUR REGIONAL SUCCESS
We got 15th. It made me really mad. My old middle school team got 4th for the 2nd straight year though, so .

Re: LET`S POST YOUR REGIONAL SUCCESS
Well, Hicksville has won...two times in a row I think these were the only two times we won.Uranium235 wrote:Our team got first for the 9th time in a row, so we have a lot to be happy about.
Anyway, I got 1st in Road Scholar, 2nd in CTW, and our school chose to opt out of Car of Tommorow. I don't have a good feeling about that event for states either. ( For non New Yorkers, Car is a trial event where you have to build an electric maglev that carries a weighted sled.)

Thanks. And it is really cool to watch it, but when it doesn't work, it makes you look pretty stupid.
