Re: National times/scores?

Post by MadCow2357 »

Welp I got 26th at Battery Buggy with a score of 53.4 (11.7 cm off, a time of 3.3, no center line bonus). This was actually my best run yet with the new CF and ABS battery buggy I made for nationals, but I know cannot expect much from a somewhat faulty build (I blame the school's 3D printer) that was completed 5 days before competition. :D

I am actually quite proud that I had the best placing at Nationals in my school's history (previous best placing was 29th in Roller Coaster last year).

A shout out to Cheese for beating me in all of my events by at least 15 places :o , and also a congrats to shrewdpanther46 for placing 5th in Battery Buggy. 8-)

I was disappointed with my BB at nats. Our wood blocks holding the set screw in place must have expanded with the lower humidity, so our set screws move and it veered off 1m to the right. Score of over a hundred. Normally I get about -13 in practice

I tested in behavioral sciences on Saturday. I had to reconfigure my buggy for straightness and I was fine at competition.
