I have 8 bane-bot wheels 1/2 " hub 2 7/8 dia and shaft size 0.158 Green tires.
Have threaded rod that fits 10 " long and at least one 8" plain stainless rod. Miscellaneous bushings and thrust bearings.
An assortment of gears. Not sure which ones go together.
Any body still looking for this?
These T40s or 80s?

9-12 meters. 1/2 meter intervals for our invitational and regional. 1/10 meter for state.

I like to see how a Caliper Steering actually works, does the kit from https://wardsci.com/store/catalog/produ ... 470309-700 have caliper steering? I got most of what need to be built, but caliper steering is something I am not able to get a handle on, I did look at the https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKC8MYR ... e=youtu.be and the forum thread on Steering. Any other pointers?

Maybe go on youtube and search up battery buggy or electric vehicles. Caliper steering is just measuring how much you move something by. It really does not matter as long as the method you have is repeatable and measureable with how much you are steering each time. Also you dont need to make the same post in two separate topics.

Battery buggy B

Post by muhammad123 »

At Bayard Rustin I saw that a lot of the teams that medaled went for the bonus. Is the bonus necessary if you want to medal scince it seems a lot of teams are doing it and most of the teams that did it, medaled.(when I say necessary I mean if you want a chance to medal)

You've gotta be kidding me agh  ... was it really necessary to create a whole new topic for this small question??? I feel like I've said this over 10 times now smh. Maboi, for future reference avoid creating new topics, and also you can edit posts.
Yes, a bonus would be necessary to be competitive.

They're new to forums, calm down.

Also, it's really fine to create a new topic for a question, but it's recommended that you post it elsewhere.

I competed at Rustin for Buggy and got first, I'd say that in order to medal easily at most competitions, definitely go for bonus. That said, it's still possible to medal without getting the bonus.

You can dm me if you have any further questions about Rustin Buggy.

Thanks!
