I then do the same thing to wind torque to 1.3 and dewind it to 0.6. it will fly ok. so, why it cannot fly with higher initial launch torque?
wait so youre winding to 1.3 and then winding backwards to .65 or are you releasing and then letting go so the launch torque is .65
it's not about the medals; go out there and have fun. make progress, learn a few things and have one heck of a time; that's all that matters.

I know I had an issue like that once where the prop was angled downwards ever so slightly, and it fought against the lift at the beginning because of the high torque, which made it dive. There might be something more behind your issue, however.

Most likely your fuselage is bending at the higher torques. Pulls the nose down increasing town thrust, and tail down, causing excess nose down moment.

For the rubber stripper part, is this true for all rubber that comes in box?

Edit: for example the description of this rubber is 3/32" so I would assume that it comes precut into a 3/32" strand? https://www.faimodelsupply.com/product/ ... rt-rubber/
