Today is the day!

Registration will open for the Third Annual Science Olympiad at the University of Pennsylvania Invitational (to be held on February 16, 2019) today at 4 PM EST on a rolling basis. Schools will be able to register up to two teams. The registration link can be found on a Registration tab that will appear live on our website at 4 PM EST today.

Last year we filled up our 50 spots in just four hours, so please make sure you do not delay if you intend to attend our tournament! Please note: there will be a wait list. Should any registered team withdraw from attending or not send us payment by the October 31st deadline, we will begin contacting teams to attend our tournament on this list on the order in which they appear.

The registration fee for each competing team will be $45. If your school is a member of the Philadelphia School District, registration is free.

1. Troy
2. Mason (Sorry Boca)
3. WWP North
4. WWP South
5. Boca Raton
6. New Trier
7. Harriton
8. LASA
I feel like 9 and 10 could go to a lot of teams, and any team in the top 5 could have their B team place there with a strong performance. Granted, I do not know who has stacked/unstacked B teams, but there could easily be a team that exceeds expectations and ends up in the top 10.
I also feel that Boca and New Trier will be close, as will both WWP schools.

Yeah so why is everyone putting Boca Raton in the 7th-9th range?

Provided Mason stacks, and the WW-P schools do not:

1. Troy
2. Mason
3. LASA
4. Harriton
5. Boca Raton
6. New Trier
7. WW-P North
8. Montgomery
9. WW-P South
10. Lower Merion

I can agree with that, however I would put New Trier above Boca.
