That’s a big sleep on Illinois

Tbh that was less of me not thinking highly of Illinois teams and more of me being familiar with how good the other teams are, while being conservative about how Stevenson and New Trier are going to do against those other teams.

A few notes:

I tiered these predictions, putting teams in pools where I think their rankings are essentially interchangeable. I listed highest to lowest within those tiers, but those are basically guesses.

For Texas, I have no clue who’s making it out. I’d guess Clements, but I could definitely see 7L (Lasa seems the least likely, and I would shift TX down a tier if it’s them).

I also did a little past the top 10 because there’s too many teams this year that are top ten material. So I just listed all that I think have a good-to-fair shot of breaking top 10.
