That’s weird since I’ve never seen isostasy problems at any competitor ion. Oof.
It may help to consider that Division B and Division C tests likely focus on different aspects of the event.
I recall seeing isostasy on division B tests last year though (although it was a different topic), but I suppose it's reasonable to say that division B tests would have less about it.

All the yellow (crust) must have an equal density times thickness for there to be isostatic equilibrium. If the numbers aren't equal the smaller number is sinking (I think).
Thank you! Can somebody explain the difference between hanging valleys, truncated spurs, and U-shaped Valleys are? Sorry for all the question guys  I'm new to dynamic planet.
http://officersiasacademy.blogspot.com/ ... acier.html Check this out. This has good pictures. It doesn't include truncated spurs. Google that and you'll see what it is. Images are critical for glacial features. U shaped valleys are the shape of the valley that a glacier carves. The other major type of valley is a V shaped valley, which is carved by a stream or river.

Ok, so how exactly does a hanging valley form? I know there's something about how the glacial valley makes the valley steeper? But how does that create another valley?

A hanging valley is caused when a tributary glacier flows into a bigger (and lower) glacier. The tributary glacier erodes a smaller hanging valley above the valley of the bigger glacier.

I would suggest knowing at least what a glacier is and what the different types of glaciers and glacier formations look like. Mass balance also isn't very hard to figure out.

Just look over all of wikipedia's pages on glaciers. Helps alot for the basics. If you have extra time look into glacial ages, when they happened, and their causes.
