I wanted to give teams a heads up that there will be free behind the scenes tours of the research collection at the Paleontological Research Institute (PRI) for fossil event participants, and discounted admission to the Museum of the Earth for teams. Museum of the Earth is not on campus, and you will need transportation there.

The link to signing up for PRI behind the scenes tours of the research collection is now active.

You can sign up online. Your team can also visit the Museum of the Earth. Contact Maureen Bickley to inform her so that they provide you with discounted admission.

Go to the National tournament website activities page.

https://www.scienceolympiad2019.org/aux ... activities

Click on the link Museum of the Earth and you will download a PDF document. There is a link in the shaded blue box to the sign ups.

Can you Nats2019 give anything more regarding flight tests for DivC Wright Stuff and DivB ELG? Many teams have asked if there are Friday times due to impound and event issues Saturday morning.
After much discussion with Cornell, we were able to secure the Ramin Room for additional time on Friday! The practice times for Flying Events are now as follows:

Friday - 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm (NOTE: HVAC SYSTEM MAY BE RUNNING ON FRIDAY)

Saturday - 6:00 am - 8:00 am and during downtime throughout the day at the supervisor’s discretion

FYI: Team Numbers

Known 1st place teams to decline a bid include Waynflete (ME) and LISA Academy West (AR) in B, and Waynflete (ME) and St. Johnsbury's Academy (VT) in C. I'm uncertain if the two teams that are higher than Walpole in this PDF were eligible to attend nationals: https://scioly.org/wiki/images/d/d7/201 ... esults.pdf
East Stroudsburg South Class of 2012, Alumnus of JT Lambert, Drexel University Class of 2017

Isn't it also screening on Thursday night? Not sure when but that's when I'm planning to see it

True, although I'm pretty sure Friday would gather more people bc I think most teams are arriving late Thursday or later

But now that these two conflict I'm just disappointed

I think there are two screenings Friday. We plan to go to the first then see about practice for gliders.

If you submitted before the announcement, you may want to resubmit as the team lists used for the contest that time were not accurate.
