What textbooks should I read for Protein Modeling? Would an organic chemistry textbook chapter be a good idea?

The reason I brought up orgo chem is because I did a couple of invitational tests as practice at home and a few of the questions were quite challenging.

It definitely depends on the test writer. I don't think organic chemistry is necessary, but it could be included. (of course there is an overlap between orgo and biochem). I would stick with biochemistry rather than orgo.
