Re: What's on your CTRL+V?
Consider the piece (or type) of art you wrote about on Tuesday. Today you will identify elements of your art that align with Aristotle's 'requirements' in Poetics.
Pick 5-7 of the qualities Aristotle describes and detail how they exist within your art.
Things to consider: color, shape, voice, rhythm, language, melody, genre, instinct, imitation, admirable actions, completeness, theme, plot, character, diction, reasoning, spectacle, magnitude (beauty = magnitude + order), type of action, astonishment, reversal, recognition, suffering, more pure self-understanding because of emotion (and probably a million more that I don't remember right now).
This will be like 6-8 short (very, very short, like 3 or so sentences) paragraphs.
Obviously, make sure you identify the art as your first paragraph. In the rest of the paragraphs, identify the quality and how it applies. Be specific. Have fun. (You love this art; show it with the writing.)
This is so stupid

what are you doing in my swamp
it's not about the medals; go out there and have fun. make progress, learn a few things and have one heck of a time; that's all that matters.
