I borrowed someone else's stove for that requirement... I think I carried it for half of the trip as a trade.JoeyC wrote:Mines is camping because I never got a trail stove for 3 years.

This year I've picked up FRC, SeaPerch, and RoboSub. I'm in for quite a handful hehe.

Re: Extracurricular Thread
Along with scioly, I play two sports, field hockey and softball (both for school and club teams).
I also do PJAS, which is a Pennsylvania-specific math and science competition where you make and then present a project on a math or science topic to a panel of judges.
Other than that, I do a few random competitions with the math department at my school but not too much since my other activities are pretty time-consuming.
I’m also in National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society

Re: Extracurricular Thread
I do Future Problem Solving (FPS), Invention Convention, Cross Country, and a lot of other things.
FPS is really interesting and fun. I would recommend joining a team if you don't have one already at your school. I've been doing it for 3 years now, and it's quite exciting (especially when you move on to Internationals. Yes. INTERnationals)

We don't talk about Pentathlon.

Re: Extracurricular Thread
As a college student. I've gotten the chance to get into high power rocketry (we compete in IREC) and model aircraft (competing in ASAE West), and both are incredibly fun.
Also I'm trying to get back into chess.
And ofc, writing/volunteering for scioly.
