just out of curiosity, sr243, what school did you go to in nj?

we failed regionals...top 5...qualified for states...but 9th graders were crying and the coaches were mad and i was depressed and ready to yell at the next person who asked "how did you do at regionals?" :cry: :x but we more or less redeemed ourselves in states but we still did very bad at states :| sigh...

I was in Thomas Grover Middle School. Last year they got 4th, but this year they got 5th. The competition there is a lot tougher.

I agree. Well, i can't really because I've never been to another state's SO...

Grover? They were pretty decent this year :D Especially, especially at Regionals, where we failed. :x :(

Our team got first for the 9th time in a row, so we have a lot to be happy about.

We got 15th. It made me really mad. :evil: My old middle school team got 4th for the 2nd straight year though, so :D .

Well, Hicksville has won...two times in a row :roll: I think these were the only two times we won.

Anyway, I got 1st in Road Scholar, 2nd in CTW, and our school chose to opt out of Car of Tommorow. I don't have a good feeling about that event for states either. ( For non New Yorkers, Car is a trial event where you have to build an electric maglev that carries a weighted sled.)

Thanks. And it is really cool to watch it, but when it doesn't work, it makes you look pretty stupid.
