MIT gives out top 6.
LISO C gives out top 10, B gives out top 6.
Princeton gives out top 6.
Conestoga gives out top 5.
SOUP gives out top 6.
Cornell B/C gives out top 6.
It does depend on how far back you go. I'm not sure exactly when PA States started giving out 6 rather than 5, but it was probably in the latter half of the 2010s.

Minor clarification to this, LISO 2018-2019 and 2017-2018 C gave out medals to top 8, and LISO C 2019-2020 was top 10. (prior to 2018 season, it was top 6)
LISO B 2018-2019 was top 6, and LISO B 2019-2020 was top 7.

Also, while I'm at it, NY States C starting in 2014 gave out medals to top 10 (previously it was top 6)
NY States B started giving out medals to top 10 in 2017, in 2016 and earlier it was top 6.
Columbia Invitational gives out medals to top 6.

Yup. I'll always remember because I'd have two more Div C state medals if they'd switched earlier.

Yes, for our purposes medals are any award including ribbons.

Thanks to all who gave medal info; the site has been updated.

All Idaho tournaments give out medals for top three. Washington's Northwest Region in C gives out six (B unknown, bernard would know).

"Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." Matthew 5:11-12

I have no regrets.

UC Davis gives out 5. So does Ukiah. Before 2020, states and regionals in NorCal gave out top 5.
