Cornell Invitational 2022
We are excited to announce that the Cornell Invitational is back and will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022!!! The invitational is a Satellite SO, with teams able to compete from the comfort of their own schools. All events will be written, reviewed, and run by alumni and members of Cornell’s Science Olympiad organization, which means coaches will not be required to write tests or otherwise volunteer at this invitational, leaving them free to focus solely on coaching their own teams.
Registration is OPEN and will continue to be open until November 15, 2021, at 11:59 PM EST OR if the team cap is met earlier (80 teams for Div C, 40 teams for Div B). There is a maximum of three (3) teams per school. Spots are filling up fast, so register soon at: https://scilympiad.com/cornell
As this is a Satellite-style tournament, most events will be held on Scilympiad, while those builds that will be run will mostly be run either on Zoom or pre-recorded videos. Teams should plan on competing from school buildings with a coach on-site to supervise, especially for builds. Registration and tournament logistics can be found here, respectively: https://www.cornellscioly.com/how-to-register and https://www.cornellscioly.com/logistics
We will be running 21 events in each division, with modifications to certain events to accommodate the Satellite SO format. Learn more about our events and schedules here: https://www.cornellscioly.com/events!
We hope to see everyone next January!
