Pre-Nats practice session/indoor contest

Pre-Scioly Nats practice session!!!

The Wichita free flight group have made their site in Wellington, KS, available for practice on 5/19, 9am-5pm. Flying fee is $20/person. This is a smooth ceiling 27' site (just over the Cat II threshold). I'll be serving as a CD for AMA indoor flying and Chuck Powell is the site coordinator. This is a great opportunity to practice your indoor flying in a safe site close to the Nats. If you want to participate in the traditional pre-Nats flying session to get a feel for the conditions there, you can come for the morning and early afternoon and still have time to participate in the SO-provided session at WSU. Since this is an organized contest it'll avoid some of the mayhem prevalent at the typical SO Nats sessions (some of you will remember what that's all about).
