I think the allocation of spots for States has to do with the number of teams that register for Regionals in each region. Yes, some regions are more competitive than others and that will always be the case (and those cells of competitiveness will shift over time). It would be unfair to change the allocation rules based on 'competitiveness' since you can't really define that until after the Regional competitions. Also, you couldn't really call it 'States' if the majority of the teams came from one region.

I realize that, but they shouldn't go just by team amount, because that ended up in this year SE for C only could send 7 teams to states, even though they should probably have sent more do to their high competitiveness.

He's from Pennsylvania, but that's from the Tiger Invitational, which was held sometime in February.

Here are my rankings for next year's top 10 in B. It may be too early, but I'll do it anyway. Two things: I was debating who to have for #3, Bala or Strath, but I decided to make it this way. Also, I was thinking Stroudsburg might not have liked placing 11th, but I wound up not putting them on this list. :?

1. Sewickley
2. Shady Side
3. Bala Cynwyd
4. Strath Haven
5. Welsh Valley
6. JT Lambert
7. Greater Nanticoke
8. Hershey
9. Whitehall-Coplay
10. Stetson

Honestly I would never be sure: thing always go wrong at competition.
Also, at least a few teams have started to study now.
I think that Shady Side, Sewickly, Strath Haven, and Bala Cynwyd all have a chance of making it to the national tournament next year.

I think Bala and(hopefully) Strath Haven have a good chance of making nationals, because both are very intent on doing well. I'm pretty sure both teams are already starting some work.
