has anyone gotten random words on tests that weren't included in the official rules? any examples?

most of the words on the tests aren't in the official rules...what do you mean by random?

yes, i think he means any other examples that are not listed in the rules. I don't have the rules anymore, but i think that they listed 6 volcanic features, you may have to know more than just those 6. Is this true with other competitions?

Oh yeah, I don't think I've ever taken a test where everything I needed to know was on the rules. Like smartkid, I don't have rules, but I had something on what volcanic glass was and I'd never heard of it

The only thing that rings a bell in with me is that I remember obsidian is known as something that includes the word glass, but I don't remember what. Maybe that's it.

get used to it-almost every event will ask you questions about topics not in the rules
