Hey what about me! I'll see you two at states too; although my nametag wont have smartkid222.

Oh yeah gneissisnice my math teacher last year went to your school as a student.
Scienceismylife, i really hope you make it this year. What middle school did you go to?

The day before states last year we went to this chinese place that gave us fortune cookies. I forgot what they said.

To answer the topic, I am from Hicksville, Westrn Long Island, New York

Good luck at your competitions people :D

Both our (gneissisnice and my) teams are pretty likely to make it states. Anyways, my t-shirt will probably have my avatar on it, since that's the logo of my robotics team.

I've been auto-refreshing that trial events page for two months now. C'mon, Sumo Bots!

What's wrong with Sumo Bots? It's one of the most expensive events, I guess, but darn if it isn't the most fun you can have in 3 minutes (preferably with your pants on). The rules are a bit broken—start facing each other at opposite corners on a square field? That's just not very well thought out—but that's natural for any trial event.

Sumo-bots is a very fun event, but unfortunately, schools without a lot of money rarely win. I say rarely because last year we didnt spend a whole lot on it, were completely surprised when it made the finals, and then flat-out shocked when we won first.
And smartkid, I also look forward to beating you...i mean MEETING you at states. :D
And personally, i think its time NY got one of the cooler study events. I mean, we get sumo, which is fun, but we also get the boring ones, like E. chem and anatomy. I want one of the really cool earth science events. I would SO own at geologic :D
