you're lucky you even brought the sumo bot and that it fit the spcesPhenylethylamine wrote:Well, for example, our Robo-Cross robot burned out the night before and we had to use our Sumo-Bot with a shovel glued to the front... so we ended up getting 55th in that.fmtiger124 wrote:when u say "unexpected bombs" what do you mean?Phenylethylamine wrote:Yeah, Melville with one of their superstars unable to be there... 16th is impressive
We, in 11th place, were only 6 points behind the 10th place team, and only 8 points behind Eagle Hill (we had, again, some unexpected bombs, so I wouldn't be calling off the question of who's the more competitive NY team just yet... you can see for yourself how close it was).
and well the dabate over wether or not Eagle hill or Gelinas is better won't really affect us will it?
We will all be on division C next year
True, it doesn't affect us directly, but I can't say I won't harbor some Gelinas loyalty even once I'm at WM

Well, then they would have entered nothing and got 6 places worse. Not a great improvement, it seems.

We didn't bring the Sumo-Bot. It was driven up the night before comp by a parent. They did quick modifications to get it in specs.fmtiger124 wrote:you're lucky you even brought the sumo bot and that it fit the spcesPhenylethylamine wrote:Well, for example, our Robo-Cross robot burned out the night before and we had to use our Sumo-Bot with a shovel glued to the front... so we ended up getting 55th in that.fmtiger124 wrote: when u say "unexpected bombs" what do you mean?

Yeah... technically he didn't leave the night before comp. He left the day before comp and got there late that night.blufoster6 wrote:One of ya'lls parents drove from NY to GA in one night?!
