Re: Environmental Chem
I wasn't talking about CTW. Read the title of the thread. I said next to CTW, this event (environmental Chem.) has had the most surprises on tests this year. And CTW, I know the National test was similar, but on other tests (Invats. Regional, State) for me they have had surprises.kjhsscioly wrote:did they?... i wasnt at nationals, but read that the crave test was similar to last year

Re: Environmental Chem
Wow, the nationals test had a lot of labs and a lot of questions. My partner and I were really good on the question part, and I think we did really well on that. Although I think we bombed one or two of the labs, we finished the test and came in 6th.
2010 Nationals:
Anatomy: 1st
Science Crime Busters: 5th
Bio-Process Lab: 5th
Can't Judge a Powder: 10th
Disease Detectives: 15th
Overall Team: 2nd

Re: Environmental Chem
we got a pretty slow start, but we picked up the pace after about 5 minutes. Did anyone understand how to do the porosity part? We sort of guessed
Nationals. Science Crime Busters. First. BOO YA.

Re: Environmental Chem
No, if you actually had read it, they took out the part of enviro chem being the topic. The 1st version that they put out in mid April said that it would be the topic, but the revised edition (published 2 weeks ago) which karatekid posted took that piece out. So it looks like there will be no enviro chem at all, but we won't know until rules come out in September.
