Do we need to some meteorology for Solar System? And what about craters and when they formed? And what about volcanoes and topographic map skills? Thanks.

I would say yes, but i've never actually done this event before.

The 2006 rules list "interpreting topographic maps on the planets and their satellites".
The 2007 rules list "geologic and atmospheric activity of the planets and their satellites" as well as
"characteristics of terrestrial and giant planets and their satellites including atmospheres, density, seasons, climates, ring systems, etc."

Not Earth meteorology, except for meteors and stuff, if that counts. It's possible they will ask about the stuff SOninja said, but the rules might not have them. Still, you should know them just in case the event supervisor doesn't conform to the rules exactly. ;)

Does anyone have any good, in-depth websites for each planet?

How much reach-for-the-stars knowledge will help you in this event?

Thnx.
