Re: Baseball
They still got several good minor leaguers. Just not our top three ones. Do some research on them and maybe in about 5 years the Indians will be good again.

just don't watch major league baseball then, there are some good minor league teams around clevelandscienceolympiadist wrote:I live near Cleveland, and am disgusted by the Cliff Lee trade that the Indians dealt. The entire city has lost hope on this team.

Re: Baseball
Summary of Big Deals:
Jake Peavy to White Sox
Victor Martinez to Red Sox
Cliff Lee to Phillies
Matt Holiday to Cardinals
Adam LaRoche for Casey Kotchman; To Braves and Red Sox, respectively
Jarrod Washburn to Tigers
Freddie Sanchez to Giants
There was also a rumor that came out after the deadline that Roy Halladay got traded to the Angels, but it was false.
Thoughts and updated predictions?
Mine:
AL East-Yankees
AL Central-Tigers
AL West-Angels
Wild Card-Red Sox
Pennant Winner-Yankees
NL East-Phillies
NL Central-Cardinals
NL West-Dodgers
Wild Card-Giants
Pennant Winner-Phillies
World Series-Yankees now, but if the Phillies pitching is really good, I might change it.

Re: Baseball
You're killing me here.......the Mets had a ton of those players healthy the last 2 years and....they MISSED the playoffs!!!49ers wrote:so thwe mets would be killing if they had all their players( especially beltran, delgado, sheffield, and reyes[him the most])
and thats another thing the mets also have david murphy as a starting player
I'm still confused as to the sudden disapearence of 49ers and the appearence of 49ersfan who is oviously the same person........

It's general chat, spam doesn't really matter that much here. Cut him a little break this time.
