Just me thinking out loud, but...

Thought 1: that flag is of a country not well known, so could it be of a country mentioned in Wacky Geography? No. But googlefrog did re-activate that thread a few days ago. it could be her.

Thought 2: The search for the canable thing was good. Most of the results are of avatars of fourien forums, but the pic must have come from somewhere. Odds are, though that the assassin saw it as an avatar, Which means the assassin must be bi-lingual. Possibility.

Thought 3: the 3rd picture looks like a telescope to me. Maybe someone in RFS or Solar System? Also in EEE or Ampibians and reptiles cause of frog? (also points to googlyfrog)

Thought 4: We still have no idea abot the first three pictures, which "make a set". I would also assume that these make a set, which means that no one picture would point to the assassin by itself. We need to link these 4 pictures so that hey make sense.

I just did all that from my iPod. No joke. It was hard work, too!

Yes, the first 3 Self Clues need to be interpreted as a set. Surprised that no one has solved this with google.

The most recent Self Clue pictures are all part of a set in a categorical sense, but they can identify me independently.

Anyways, I think the way to solve this clue is to look for letters in that jumbled mess, and see if they spell anything.

Edit: I think this clue targets me. I can see all the letters of my username in it, except the r.

Edit2: Never mind, I can see the r too. Still, make sure that it doesn't obviously target someone else before protecting me.

I googled the first three ID clues together, and the only link I really saw that had all three was Pepe California. That looks like an archive site, and it's written in what looks like Chinese.
Another thing matched too, except the clues were in a different context (A1 and M1 were used as symbols, not steak sauce or a gun, and Simpson referred to just a name), so Im not sure if that's it.That was Windsor Christian Academy presents An Evening Under the Stars.

So I dont know if either of those help.

A few ideas for the identity clues:

I found the website that the gun picture most likely came from: http://www.spartanimports.com/content/i ... &Itemid=26

Also, I tried combining the names of the first three pictures and came up with the M1A1 Abrams, a battle tank. Here's a wiki link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M1_Abrams That might just be a coincidence, though.

As for the kill clue, it does seem very likely that it is targeting AlphaTauri.

if your right about the tank thing I think someone on chat was going on about various tanks that they thought were cool i just don't remember who it was though I think it was either robotman, starpug or deeisenberg

You're absolutely right.
