SAT Scores?

I don't know whether this topic has come up or not, but I'll ask it anyway. What type of scores have you gotten on that dreaded test?

What I got in seventh grade was:
Math: 650
Reading: 640
Writing: 580

I just took the PSATs, and I haven't gotten the scores back yet.

Well, my actual composite score that I used to apply was:

Math 650
Reading 770
Writing 660

I don't know what happened with the math, generally it is my high score. The only explanation I can come up with was it was the only one I didn't study for.

This would actually make for an interesting poll. That and ACT scores.

I'll post mine if I find them... it's been since December when I applied anywhere (ha last 3 apps were submitted Christmas day... maybe that's why I got in).

Math will trip you up if you don't prepare for it a little...there's a lot of things they'll use to trick you when that's not really what they're asking. I found a review book immensely helpful in that case.

I think I have a 750 on math, 700 on reading, and 730 on writing.

Wait, you have been taking them since 7th grade?? We dont get to until 11th grade.

Yes, i've taken them in seventh and eight grade through the CTY talent search from John Hopkins. I'm taking them agian this year, there aren't really any restrictions of when you can take them.

Yeah, I didn't even know you could take them in middle school. That is quite odd.

Yeah I took it in 7th and 8th grade through the Northwestern (I think) Talent search thing. That was back on the 1600 scale though, and then they changed it by the time I took it for real. But back then I got a 1090 and 1190 I believe.
