How have you been? Doing anything interesting?
I’ve been doing great!

I just got back from a little excursion to Turkey :D
Airport is 10/10 would recommend
Random person’s taxi service is 0/10, would not recommend due to overcharging because it’s very obvious I was a tourist and couldn’t speak Turkish and my shock at the sheer price for a 15 minute ride to the mall compared to the 35 minutes to the mall by airport taxi dude

Lesson: Uhhh don’t use random taxi service in turkey I guess 8-)

ahhhh nice! Good to hear you enjoyed your trip! I love the way international airports are designed—they're always so beautiful and modern looking, and they remind us how nice it is when we bring the world together.

I now really want to figure out how a local bagel shop makes their coffee: seemed to have been batch brewed, but it was the first time I've had coffee that had both a strong fruit flavor and balance. Maybe just good equipment, supplier, and training.

you should just go and ask! they'll probably be happy to tell you unless it's a closely guarded secret.

gen alpha terrifies me; i was recently at the grocery store when i saw a 7 yr old break into this random and seemingly uncontrolled dance and a bunch of other random, unrelated people in that age group started hooting and i’m not sure exactly what happened there.

i babysit a ton of kids in gen alpha and apparently counting to 3 doesn't work on them.

"Uh- You get, um, TIME-OUT"

i just saw a 2nd grader shove his classmate off the second floor of a playground mercilessly and watched the kid on the ground screaming and crying from pain while cackling
