How do you solve a problem like this?
There is a farm near the West Gravene river, and the farmers use a pesticide that includes boric
acid. After rain, the liquid boric acid is collected by the water, and a portion is washed into the
river. Assuming that the pH of the starting river water is 7.00, how much of 0.500 M boric acid,
which is a weak acid, was needed to change the pH of 100 liters of water to 6.89. Answer in
milliliters rounded to the nearest whole number. The Ka of Boric acid is 5.8 x 10E10
