Re: Codebusters B/C
Hey, I have some questions
1) Is there any shortcut to porta? IK there's one for vigenere but it doesn't seem to work the same way for Porta and I keep getting gibberish
2) How much do you guys think cryptarithms will be worth this season?
any help/advice would be much appreciated, thanks!

Where can I find an as-easy-as-possible explanation of how to decrypt an Affine cipher with key? I am pretty confused with the math.

Re: Codebusters B/C
cryptograms.org is a good website to practice aristocrats
for everything else you can try practice tests in the test exchange
the wiki is helpful for understanding some things (it doesn't cover everything though) - there are also lots of youtube videos explaining how to solve a lot of cipher types that are really helpful
these are pretty basic though, I'm sure there are much better study websites (I usually try to do all the aristos at tests so I use cryptograms.org mainly)
ok

Re: Codebusters B/C
Rasmit has also made a website you can practice ciphers on. https://codetaker.web.app/
You can generate tests on toebes.com and download them as .json files, or use the Codebuilder app on Discord.
Also, Cryptograms is great for aristocrat practice but at some point, you need to practice on paper, too. Tests do not highlight all the letters of one kind and if you get used to cryptograms' formatting you're not going to do well on a real test. Paper practice is best for most cases.
