Technically nothing is 100% official until the rulebooks are printed, but at this point the event list is usually pretty set to the point that I think almost everyone would be quite surprised to see a major change.

No, trial years are irrelevant. Bottle Rocket was an event in 2012, when rotor was a national trial event.

It is on a 2 year rotation. It was a trial in 2012 and an event in 2013 and this year, being 2014.
