Answer
That is Coccinellidae or ladybug/ladybird beetles and they are in Coleoptera. It is misleading because they are not all female and that they are not just bugs but they are beetles?

That is correct! Your turn.

A bit late but
Identify order, family, and common names.
Bonus 1: Name the species common name.
Bonus 2: Why is it given this species common name?
Bonus 3: If you wanted to preserve this insect, would you be able to pin it? If not, what can you do so that you can pin it?

Just for old time's sake, can we do one more question on here?

Image:
Image

1) Order and Family?
2) Common Name?
3) Ecological niche?
Ento is Lyfe. <3 Ento. <3 Bugs. <3 Insects.
I didn't choose the Bug Lyfe, the Bug Lyfe chose me.
