BEAT THE CURVE ACHIEVEMENT: Know that you did horribly in an event, but still medal, probably because no one else knew what they were doing either - When your 4n6 conclusion is three and a half sentences long but you still place fifth :?:

BEAT THE CURVE ACHIEVEMENT: At the Feb. 8th Nebo Invitational, my partner and I won GeoMapping despite only getting about 50% on a relatively easy test.
"Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." Matthew 5:11-12

I have no regrets.

BEAT THE CURVE ACHIEVEMENT - we got 4th in fossils at Rustin with less than 50% :D
HOST ACHIEVEMENT - 3rd in heredity at garnet valley (though to be fair, he did help me finish on time as he could do some basic punnett squares)
PARASITE ACHIEVEMENT - again, 4th in fossils at Rustin hehe (I've gotten more useful since then... maybe...)
BOOKWORM AWARD - I wish (why do I do circuit? Why do I do WIDI?)
FLASHY FAILURE ACHIEVEMENT - (this wasn't me, it was someone on my team) not quite as good as a mission setting on fire, but this mission could've gotten about top 5. Then he was stupid. He dropped the golf ball for the start action so that it bounced off the rim of the cup instead of going into it... it triggered the final action which disqualified all of the previous actions because they have to be in order. Unfortunately, the golf ball didn't land on the tee (i.e. the final action was triggered but didn't give us points), and because it was the final action it prevented us from getting the points for time. We ended up getting 5 points total. We got 22nd at a ~60 team tournament. That's a heck of a lot of no-shows...

Connection Clutch: Connecting flight to a scioly competition leaves 10 minutes after your first flight lands and it's in a different terminal, and you have to take a shuttle to get there, but you still make it.

WQ in a nutshell.
I recall an instance in WQ where I had forgotten my notes and was doing an intraschool where everyone solos. I got to the vocab section and read a question. For some reason, my brain said, "Neuston. That sounds like it could be the right answer." and wrote it down. Lo and behold, it was correct.

I feel like a lot of these "blind stabs" could be when someone has briefly read something ages ago, and don't fully remember, but upon some trigger (in this case, the question), the answer just comes to you. Memory is pretty wack.
