At the Division B state tournament Menomonie Middle School won the state tournament title for the first time in school history. Morse Middle School finished as the state runner-up for the first time in school history, breaking their streak of winning the previous two state tournament titles. The third place team from this tournament is not known.
At the Division C state tournament Madison West High School reclaimed the state title after a one year absence. Washington Park High School earned the state runner-up trophy, falling from winning the state tournament title in the previous year. Neenah High School finished as the third place team.
