The Division B State Tournament was held at UW-Oshkosh on May 3, 2003. At this tournament Morse Middle School reclaimed the state tournament title for the tenth time, setting a record with ten state team titles that would not be tied until 2019 by Hamilton Middle School. Cherokee Middle School finished as the state runner-up for the second time overall, falling from winning the state championship the previous year. Badger Ridge Middle School earned the third place trophy for the first time in school history.
The Division C State Tournament was held at UW-Stout in Menomonie on April 5, 2003. Madison West High School won their third consecutive state title. Menomonie High School earned the state runner-up trophy for the third consecutive year. Washington Park High School finished as the third place team for the third time and would mark their final placing in the top three at the state tournament.
The top team in each division qualified for the 2003 National Tournament.
There were no regional tournaments for Division B in Wisconsin until 2010.
There were no regional tournaments for Division C in Wisconsin until 2004.
