The Division B and Division C State Tournaments were held on April 12, 2008 at UW-Madison. This tournament was held as a combined tournament in preparation for the University of Wisconsin - Madison hosting the 2011 National Science Olympiad Tournament.
At this tournament Marshall Middle School won their first ever state tournament title. Rice Lake Middle School finished as the state runner-up for the third time in school history, falling from winning the state tournament title the previous year. Menomonie Middle School earned the third place trophy, falling from the state runner-up trophy the previous year.
At the Division C state tournament, Menomonie High School won their first ever state tournament title. Madison West High School earned the state runner-up trophy, failing to win the state tournament for the first time since 2000. Medford High School finished as the third place team for the second time in school history, rising from an 11th place finish at the previous year's state tournament.
The top team in each division qualified for the 2008 National Tournament. Regional champions are highlighted green.
There were no regional tournaments for Division B in Wisconsin until 2010.
