The Division B State Tournament was held on March 17th, 2012 at UW-Oshkosh. At this tournament Hamilton Middle School won their third consecutive state tournament with Eagle School of Madison finishing as the state runner-up for the second time in school history. Boyceville Middle School earned the third place trophy for the first time in school history, rising from 11th at the previous year's state tournament.
The Division C State Tournament was held at UW-Milwaukee in Milwaukee, WI on March 31, 2012. Madison West High School recaptured the state tournament by defeating Menomonie High School. Madison West High School also set a team scoring record at the state tournament, scoring only 54 points. Boyceville High School finished as the third place team for the fourth consecutive year, scoring a team record 97 points. The 2012 Division C State Tournament also represented the first year that the top three teams all scored under 100 points at the state tournament.
The top team in each division qualified for the 2012 National Tournament. Regional champions are highlighted green.
