Blue Valley West High School is a Division C team from the Northeast Region of Kansas. BVW receives students from Pleasant Ridge Middle School and Lakewood Middle School. Blue Valley West High School qualified for the National Science Olympiad tournament for the first time in 2021.

Blue Valley West High School was ranked in the top 6% nationally in the state of Kansas and is an amazing school. The following are the mission and vision statements:

At Blue Valley West, everyone plays a role in what they do. Students that are a part of BVW SciOly can also be found in clubs/activities such as BPA, DECA, National Science Bowl, athletics, and more.
