Scioly.org is a collaborative site that exists because of the work of volunteers like you. If you are looking to make contributions to the wiki, this category represents the wiki pages and jobs that require the most immediate attention. If you believe a page is included on here that has already been fixed and no longer needs substantial work, please contact a staff member. They may be contacted most easily through private message on the forums or on Discord.

Simple Jobs

• Update state pages with tournament dates for the current season.
• Upload results for tournament pages that lack them.
• Create a team page for your school or add information if it already has one (see the Team of the Week page for ideas).
• Add information needed by incomplete pages, especially pages listed below as needed for the current season.
• Update outdated pages with changes to the rules, especially pages listed below as needed for the current season.
• Add appropriate links to dead-end pages.
• Find and lengthen stubs or other short articles.
• Add new or expand existing trial event pages, and expand the list of trial events.
• Find external links that just have a URL and format them to include a description of the linked website, replacing or removing any broken links.

Advanced Jobs

• Add unused files to pages that they correspond with or delete unnecessary ones.
• Add categories to uncategorized pages or uncategorized templates.
• Add the states to the 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, and 1991 National tournament pages where they are empty. See National Results History's talk page for details.
• Create pages for invitational tournaments and regional tournaments (see Regions of Michigan and the regional tournament pages for Pennsylvania and New Jersey for examples). A list of invitationals for the current season can be found on soinc.org.

2023 Events That Need Work

• Anatomy/Digestive System - needs information about digestive regulation
• Anatomy/Respiratory System - needs information about National-level topics
• Anatomy/Immune System - needs information about diseases and disorders
• Astronomy/DSOs - needs information about 2023 DSOs
• Bio-Process Lab - needs information about stereo microscopes
• Cell Biology - needs to be updated to reflect changes to topics in the 2023 rules manual, also needs more information on vesicle formation, cellular homeostasis, and bioenergetics
• Codebusters - needs to be updated to reflect changes to the rules
• Detector Building - needs to be updated with information related to the 2023 topic (mass/force sensing device)
• Environmental Chemistry/Fresh Water - does not cover all aspects of the rules
• Flight - needs to be updated with information about the 2023 event
• Forestry/Tree List - needs information for a majority of specimens in the rules
• Forensics - needs more information about mass spectrometry
• Road Scholar - needs more information about satellite images
• Rocks and Minerals - needs to be updated to reflect changes to the rules
• Solar System/Terrestrial Bodies - needs more information about geologic characteristics and rotation of terrestrial bodies
• WiFi Lab - does not cover all aspects of the rules
