Background

Munster High School is a Division C team from northwest Indiana that qualified for the National Tournament for the first time in its history in 2013 by placing 1st in the Indiana State Tournament. Their program has grown tremendously in recent years.

Results History

Munster High School went to the Palatine Invitational, Northridge Invitational, and Wright State Invitational in the 2015 season, with the highest scoring of their teams placing 2nd in all of those invites. They placed 1st in the Iolani online tournament, beating many national top ten contenders include the defending national champion.

In the past Munster has not been the strongest competitor at its state tournament, but in recent years, after winning their state for the first time in history, they have shown potential and grown, placing within the top 20 at nationals in the first two years that they have attended and top 10 (6th) in 2015.

In 2016, Munster High School placed 2nd at the state competition behind Carmel High School by 7 points, after losing many top seniors from the previous year.
