New Trier Northfield High School used to compete in the Illinois Science Olympiad Division C competition. In the past, they were an all freshman team that feeds into the New Trier Winnetka High School, which has a history for winning the state competition. In the fall of 2018, after 17 years, the freshmen have rejoined the upperclassmen at the Winnetka campus. Now, there is one New Trier Science Olympiad team: New Trier High School
