Pleasantville Middle School (PMS) is a public middle school school that competes in Division B, located in the village of Pleasantville, New York, in Westchester County. The school competes in the Lower-Hudson Valley Region, and has been the first place winner of this region since the 2015-16 school year. They have advanced to the New York State tournament in four consecutive years, only missing state in their first year. Pleasantville Middle School has approximately 550 students, and serves fifth through eighth grades. PMS gets fed into by Bedford Road Elementary School, and feeds into Pleasantville High School, which also has a Science Olympiad team.
PMS has an "A" and a "B" team, which both compete in regional, but only their "A" team goes to state. The "A" team fields 15 students while the "B" team fields only 9.
Results
Pleasantville has consistently gotten in the top five in regionals, and in their four years at states, they have gotten in the top 20.
