About Me

I competed for the lesser known of the two Division B schools in my district, Wellwood Middle School, for 3 years from 7th to 9th grade. Wellwood has a much less serious SO program than its sister school Eagle Hill, but I was just happy to compete. Looking back, it's astonishing how much time I wasted making reference sheets instead of actually learning the event material. Nevertheless, Wellwood went to states along with Eagle Hill all 3 years I competed in Division B, and it was a really awesome experience every time.

In 10th grade I tried out for FM's varsity team but FAILED because I still had no idea what I was doing, so I ended up on FM's JV Team (Team B). My favorite events during this season were Gravity Vehicle and Ornithology.

Now it's 11th grade time and I'm on Team A for whatever reason idk. This is my last year of SO but I hope to supervise, volunteer, mentor, coach, and write tests extensively in the future.

Thus concludes my 2020-21 season. It has been a pleasure being part of this amazing community.

1: Coach was not able to assign anyone to their events except me? So I had to solo all of my events. Any events that FM competed in at SOUP 2020 was just me lol

2: Did it for kicks, first year I've done it and pretty fun

3: Did it for kicks b/c STAR killed it, I usually just mess around in the short answer while my partner gets all of our points on jmol exploration

4: This is one of my actual events, I'm just bad

5: Planned on subbing, ended up soloing
