In Division B, Shady Side Academy Middle School placed first, and Strath Haven Middle School placed second, both for the second consecutive season. Shady Side's score of 79 remains their lowest score at a state tournament in team history. This tournament was also notable as former state power Stroudsburg Junior High School's final appearance in the top three, which was also their final state tournament appearance.
In Division C, Harriton High School won their sixteenth consecutive state title, which remains a state record. Penncrest High School returned to the national tournament after a one-year hiatus, denying Conestoga High School's bid for their first-even national appearance by only one point.
