Academic Magnet High School is a Division C team which competes in South Carolina. In 2015, they defeated more established contenders Irmo High School and Clinton High School to finish first in the state and qualify for their first national appearance.
In 2019, Academic Magnet finished first in the inaugural Citadel Regional and went on to win the Division C state championship, their second.
