Bearden Middle School
History of the Team
The Bearden Middle School Science Olympiad team in Tennessee was founded in 1988 by two great coaches, Mrs. Brenda Miller and Mr. Bob Fabian, both science teachers. Started in 2008, this team goes to Georgia to compete in the Booth Invitational each year. The team consistently places in the Top 10 (around 8th place out of 30 teams). In State tournaments, Bearden Middle School has won 20 out of 22 times. At Nationals, this team solidly places in the Top 30. Currently, this team's head coach is Bob Fabian.
