Hicksville Middle School

General Information

Hicksville Middle School is located in Hicksville, New York, and is in the western section of Long Island. HMS has three stories and is a relativly large MS. It has over 1,200 students. The school is very old and used to be the high school before they built the new(er) one. The architecture gets made fun of constantly especially by the new 6th graders because there is are 2 second floors and 2 third floors.

The middle schools has students from 6th-8th grade. Only 7th and 8th graders do science olympiad; 6th graders are not allowed.

History

HMS is an pretty ok/good team. The 2008 team was the best team ever. We made a new hicksville record which was 9th place at states and the most amount of medals.
