LifeGate Academy Homeschool (also known as Team Awesome) is a brand new homeschool Science Olympiad team for high school students. They are competing in the University of Alabama at Huntsville Regional on February 19. Two of the members of Team Awesome went to the regional tournament last year with a different school and medaled in Mission Possible and Write It Do It. Team Awesome has 10 members, and is participating in the Anatomy and Physiology, Astronomy, Write It Do It, Chemistry Lab, Mission Possible, Towers, Mousetrap Vehicle, Helicopter, Dynamic Planet, Ornithology, Sound of Music and Sumobot events.
Their goal is so show the world how awesome homeschooling can be!
