Mason High School is a Division C team that competes in Ohio's Cincinnati regional tournament. It is a perennial qualifier for the Ohio state tournament and a nationally competitive team, first reaching the National tournament in 2018. |
Background
Mason High School is located in Mason, OH.
Beginning in the 2013 season, under the captainship of jhsun and Scientia, Mason's goal was to place in the top 2 Ohio teams and qualify to the National Tournament. Due to extremely strong competition with Solon, Mentor, and Centerville, this was not realized until 2018, when Mason won their first ever state title at the 2018 Ohio State Tournament and went on to place 2nd at SONT 2018, held at Colorado State University.
The 2018-19 team rebounded from the loss of a talented senior class with another strong season, finishing second at SOUP and taking 4th place at SONT 2019.
