¹ Clark High School was originally named the champion, but after a scoring error was discovered, Centennial discovered that it was the rightful champion. A heated controversy ensued, with neither school budging from its stance. Eventually, it was decided that Centennial would be declared the state champion, but Clark would represent Nevada at nationals.
