Peirce Middle School is a B division school located in Chester County, PA and is one of the three middle schools in the West Chester Area School District. They compete in the Southeastern Region of Pennsylvania. In the early days of Science Olympiad, Peirce was very, if not the most, dominant B division team in the state. They won the state title four straight years from 1989-1992, placing highly at Nationals each of these years. In 1990 and 1991, Peirce took 3rd place at Nationals. Today, Peirce Middle School has lost nearly all of its former power, being over powered by the powerhouses in the Southeastern PA region, and now only occasionally qualifies for the State tournament, the most recent being the 2011-2012 season. The students that attend this school go to West Chester B. Reed Henderson High School for high school.
